Mega Marine POS – smart marina pedestals
Our marina pedestals are designed as a self-service payment device that simultaneously allow users to easily and quickly use the electricity and water connection for their vessel.
The device is equipped with technology for monitoring energy consumption and enables billing based on actual consumption via credit card and other contactless payment methods.
Main features
MEGA MARINE POS is intended for any type of marina or port where electricity or water billing is required.
The device can be used by multiple users at the same time. By selecting free connections, the user begins their session, during which the consumed energy or water is calculated and at the end, the payment is made.
The device has a total of 4 power connections and 2 water connections. The intuitive user interface – a touchscreen with instructions guides the user through a few simple steps from the start of usage to the end of the session and billing.
Integrated software and billing options
Our marina pedestals are equipped with smart meters for remote reading of energy consumption (electricity and water), which enables billing based on actual consumption.
In addition, we also offer the possibility of configuring pre-defined electricity and water packages, through customized offers.
Payment is made via POS device by several contactless methods.
Bank cards
Payment by bank cards is made with pre-authorization of a certain amount of funds.
The desired amount is entered via the touchscreen, and the use of connections lasts until the pre-authorized limit is reached.
RFID and temporary PIN
For subscribers, privileged users, those bound by contract, and known users (staff, employees), we offer the option of scanning RFID cards.
An additional option is to enter a temporary PIN issued by the facility's reception.
QR code scanning
The system also supports the possibility of payment by scanning a QR code.
Issuing R1 invoices
Possibility of issuing an R1 (business invoice) by filling out a short form via touchscreen.
Billing according to
defined packages
In this way, port authorities and marinas are enabled to charge for the use of electricity and water connections through clearly defined packages.
The advantage of this model is that it is easier to align with existing pricing policies and commercial models.
Main advantages
Guests can simply extend their stay directly at the marine pedestal/kiosk and settle all obligations related to their berth (water, electricity and other services).
This method provides a better user experience for visitors and at the same time relieves the marina staff.
