The MegaBOX POS e-charging station is designed as a self-service payment device that simultaneously allows users to easily and quickly charge their vehicle.
The device is equipped with energy consumption monitoring technology and allows billing according to actual quantities consumed, as well as via credit card and several contactless payment methods.
An intuitive user interface – a touchscreen with instructions in several languages guides the user through a simple usage and payment process.
Main features
2 to a maximum of 4 charging points supported.
By selecting free connections, the user begins their session, during which the energy consumed is calculated and, at the end, billing and payment are made.
By pre-authorizing the user's card to the desired amount, charging begins.
Safety feature: upon completion of charging, whether caused by the forcible disconnection of the charger by another user or by the termination of charging due to the vehicle being fully charged, the user is always charged the amount based on the actual electricity consumed.
Usage procedure
Plug in the water or power connection
Physically plug in the e-connector you want to use.
Select the chosen outlet on the screen
Mark the chosen power or water outlet on the screen.
Enter the amount to be charged
Enter the amount you are willing to spend. The specified amount is pre-authorized on your account.
Start of service
After confirming the amount, the usage begins and goes on until the amount of funds is reached.
Integrated software and billing options
Built-in equipment for remote reading of electricity consumption enables billing according to actual consumption. In addition, we offer the possibility of configuring predefined packages through customized offers. Payment is made on the POS device integrated at the charging station via several payment methods:
Card payment
Payment by bank cards is made with pre-authorization of a certain amount of funds.
The desired amount is entered via the touchscreen, and the use of connections lasts until the pre-authorized limit is reached.
QR code
The system also supports the possibility of payment by scanning a QR code.
The QR code is displayed on the touchscreen – the user scans it with their mobile phone.
RFID passes
For subscribers, privileged users, those bound by contract, and known users (staff, employees), we offer the option of scanning RFID cards.
One-time PIN
An additional option is to enter a temporary PIN issued by the facility's reception.
Issuing R1 invoices
Possibility of issuing an R1 invoice by filling out a short questionnaire with basic information about the business user.
Application for energy monitoring
Through the corresponding web application, the competent person of the port authority or marina can at any time monitor data on consumption, energy taken, daily traffic, payments made, etc.
Traffic reports
The integrated software enables simple billing, automatic fiscalization and review of traffic through daily reports in the web application, ensuring complete control over the business.
Automatic fiscalization
Every successfully completed transaction is automatically taxed according to applicable regulations.
Web application
All transactions and relevant fiscalization data are available to the responsible staff in the web application 24/7.
