The MegaBOX POS charging station model is designed as a self-service device that simultaneously allows users to easily and quickly charge their vehicle.
The device is equipped with energy consumption monitoring technology and allows billing according to actual quantities consumed, as well as via credit card and several contactless payment methods.
An intuitive user interface – a touchscreen with instructions in several languages guides the user through a simple usage and payment process.
Main features
This charging station model supports 2 to a maximum of 4 charging points.
By selecting free connections, the user begins their session, during which the energy consumed is calculated and, at the end, billing and payment are made.
By pre-authorizing the user's card to the desired amount, charging begins.
Safety feature: upon completion of charging, whether caused by the forcible disconnection of the charger by another user or by the termination of charging due to the vehicle being fully charged, the user is always charged the amount based on the actual electricity consumed.
Integrated software and billing
The integrated software enables quick and easy selection of electricity and water connections via a touch screen located on the distribution cabinet itself. In addition, the associated web application allows the responsible staff or administrator to see daily traffic by location, consumed amounts of electricity and all relevant data on payments made, fiscalization, etc.
Payment is made via several contactless payment methods:
Payment by bank cards
Payment by bank cards is made with pre-authorization of a certain amount of funds. By entering the desired amount via the touchscreen, a session (use of electricity and water connections) begins, which lasts until the authorized limit is reached.
RFID
For subscribers, i.e. privileged users, users who are bound by a contract, and known users (staff, employees), we offer the option of scanning cards with a magnetic reader.
Issuing R1 invoices
Possibility of issuing an R1 (business invoice) by filling out a short form via touchscreen.
Issuing a one-time PIN
The option of entering a temporary PIN issued by the facility's reception.
QR code scanning
An additional payment option is by scanning the QR code via the touch screen
Application for energy monitoring
Through the corresponding web application, the competent person of the port authority or marina can at any time monitor data on consumption, energy taken, daily traffic, payments made, etc.
